Is my 1972 opel a stock color?

I Have a few places that could use some touch-up paint, and after I'm done with the mechanicals I will be wanting a re-paint.

I like the color it is now, but I'm not sure it is a stock color.

Opel had a bright green, called "signal green" but, what you have is far from it. Your best bet is to find a paint store, or body shop, that has one of those laser readers. It'll "look" into the paint and give you a code or "mixture" to take to most any paint shop and get it mixed correctly. But, yours is not a factory color, unusual, and dfferent, but, not factory.

mine was the stock green and that's not it.

I would assume the color was changed when the spoiler was added.

It is a great color! as long as the interior isn't red.....

Your color looks like "GT-Chartreuse" (paint code:ZZ). However that color was only available on 1970 Opel GT's in the U.S.A. and your car is a 1972. In 1972, according to the that year's sales brochure, only four colors were available on the GT's sold by Buick. Those colors were: Strato Blue (DD), Rallye Gold (QQ), Fire Glow (XX) and Chrome Yellow (YY). Check the I.D. plate mounted in the passenger side cowl under the hood for the original paint code. Your GT has definitely been repainted a different color.

I have seen a few cars that might have been this color - there's one in the GT Source catalog.

It was stripped to the frame for painting - every nook and cranny is green.

At one time, the dash was green too - but someone painted it black.

It's very close to Kawaski Green - which is great, because I restore Kawi jet skis as a hobby.

I'll probably keep it this color. It's got a few spots that must be addressed before a re-paint, so I was hoping to get some touch-up paint.

It looks so good now, I'm gonna hate to start fixing it. Those primer spots always stick out.

Definitely not stock Opel. If I were to guess, I would say early '70's Mopar green (a la Challenger/Charger) although I don't know the "official" colour name. Hmm, after looking again, it is a bit too light to be that colour.
