    Can't get my dash out - Hood Latch

    Im trying to get my dash out and the pull handle for the hood latch is giving me a problem. I've loosened the nut on the back but can't figure out how to get the handle off. How do I do that?

    Yes, I did do a search in the forum and actually got this question answered by gene a zillion years ago.... (That's the last time I had time to work on my car)

    "Thom;
    There's a nut threaded on the back side of the hood release. Then take the end of it loose from the hood latch mechicnism out in the engine compartment, and you can pull the cable through the firewall and remove the entire dash."

    However, I still can't figure out how to the get the T grip of the handle off the INSIDE part of the hood release and that's what I need help with.

    Gene, don't be so quick to agree to the above statement.
