I am looking for a complete steering column , with signal switch and ignition swith (with key).Good harness would be great too

Not exactly true, the end shaft is shorter on a 1970 steering column. You would have to swap the end shafts.

I now know that my statement isn't exactly true. See following posts.

All 1970-1973 GT Steering columns are interchangeable, and the shafts are the same.

The 1969 GT Steering Column has some internal and wiring differences,
and a different coupler style.

Additions to the 1971-1973 GT harness includes a wire for the seat belt "buzzer" (which most people disconnect anyways).

I know from experience and a photo. Last year I tried to put a 1970 steering column that came out of a wrecked car into a 1972 body. It wouldn't reach the steering box.

The 1970 column is 1 1/4" shorter.

The steering column shafts are the same length for all years of Opel GT's.

A difference in appearance in length could be the result of compression on the internal plastic pins, which are brittle and designed to collapse (in an accident, to protect the driver).

If the shafts were to differ in length, would require an alteration of the body itself (including the suspension mounting points and the threaded chassis mounts for the steering column) between different model years. While there is a difference on other components (throttle linkage on the 1969 GT's), there isn't a difference between the steering components on 1970 and 1972/1973 model years.

Even if there was a length difference, the shaft to the steering rack could easily be swapped to a different steering column (which is the part that is the topic of this thread).

OOOh. That makes sense then. The steering column that had the shorter shaft did come out of a car that was totaled in a front end collision. And, I was able to pry the shaft out. I didn't know of this safety feature.
