    Fall Opeling

I figured that there are going to be very few days of decent weather left here in Ohio. ( It tends to rain one day...snow the next, then turn sunny and 90 all in the same week).

I took Gracie out for a nice fall spin this evening. The wife and I got a babysitter for the munchkin and took off for a nice evening of dinner and cruising. Surprisingly...the weather held out. A steady 70 and windy. It started to rain JUST as I parked Gracie for the evening.

It was very nice to take her out (This is only the 4th time I have driven her since I got her). I forgot how different a 37 year old car is from todays modern vehicles. I have to say that all in all it was awesome and I was sad to park her for the night.

I hope we get more nice days before the "White Death" arrives.

    Oh well.....Just felt like sharing.

GT's, like most sport cars, are toys to be played with when and where you want. If people keeps that in mind the GT can be a lot of fun to own and enjoy. I have owned every model Opel that was imported from 1966 till 1975 (and a couple gray market cars that was brought over from Europe). The GT is not a daily driver or the most comfortable riding by any means but they are attention getters and a fun little car to drive. So keep it in the toy catagory, drive it at your leasure and enjoy the pride of ownership (having a unique car) and have a ball with it.
