    New Parts Source

After looking through the forums I decided I needed a Bosch Blue coil for my GT. After checking local sources without luck I found California Import Parts on the internet.

This is a VW supplier but they do have Pertronix stuff and the Bosch coils.

The bonus is that for Canadians, they ship from Canada so we avoid any customs and brokerage charges.

I ordered the coil online yesterday and got it today. Price was $29.95 US (plus shipping).

Usual disclaimer..... I have nothing to do with them. Just great service.

    Good score!

Not only shipping from Canada, they're in BC! Well done and thanks for sharing. I looked through BowWow's site since I had luck with them on Kharman Ghia parts, but this looks much better.

    Vdo

ChecK their VDO gauges - there is a 0-80 pis oil pressure sender there that looks suspiciously like the one used in the GT!

That OPS would work but you need an adapter to change the threads from M10x1 to M14x1.5 which is the size needed for our Opels. VDO # 360-028 is the actual dual terminal OPS that is used in the Opel GT.(about $90)

I am using the VDO # 360-009 (1/8-27npt) with an adapter.(about $32 total) This is a much cheaper alternative than the factory unit & works fine.

    Any Luck with Overseas suppliers?

What type of experience have y'all had with OpelGTParts.com? A few of their tuning and accessory parts look like they'd make nice projects...
    See y'all at Carlisle!

They are in Holland and I made the mistake of contacting them in German!
Run by Patrick Susselbeek who is a great guy and well known in the Opel scene, especially in Europe. Finally understood "LuftPost; Schnelle!"
