Cheque book in one sweaty hand ; pen in other ; ears closed to the entreaties about the need for a new kitchen. Might have to sleep in it for a few weeks .....Originally Posted by Gary

Looks like it is in good shape and very rare over there! Is it a driver?
Hey, you can always tell her she can drive it!!
This Space for Rent
The car has done 35,000 miles only but is Left Hand Drive so would need a special exemption to be street driven here - have to check if it has one of those. There my well be no other 1967 Kadett Rallye here, certainly less than half-a-dozen in the whole country.
You think I have not (desperately!) used the old "You can drive it, Dear!" ploy??

GtJim, a buddy of mine had one many years ago. I saw the B&W pictures the other day. He told me he had the original owners manual and related stuff. If you get it, I'll see if he will part with them. I also saw a rust bucket of the same version, a few weeks ago about 2 miles from me. Windshield etc, in good shape. Interior gone. Jarrell
Finally got to see the Kadett Rallye - the owner has to move it from the shed it is stored in and is now "talking turkey" and I have made him an offer!
It is definately a 1967 1.1SR propper Rallye Kadett.
Here are another couple of pics with the engine number.
