Damn, I forgot about that old site! What did we have back then, 50 members?
It must be when I ported Travis' cylinder head, I guess it's been a few years already. Time flies.....
Gary, I was just surfing through the old OGT.com site (http://www.opelgt.com/wbb/main.php if some members still have access) and was reminiscing about some of the original threads. There were some darn good ones! I looked around, but as I recall, there was a reason why the threads kind of got "buggered" when you imported them, wasn't there? I noticed that one in particular
http://www.opelgt.com/wbb/thread.php...id=8&styleid=1
was replicated here as
http://opelgt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32
but lost all the neat photos and some of the words also became garbled.
Is there any way to re-import some of those? If not, maybe I'll just try editing a few by fixing the words and adding in the photos.
Just having a bit too much time on my hands with this "down time" and not able to work in the garage...

lol. I forgot about that one. I remember that I had to "create" an import script to migrate to vbulletin. The member ID numbers were not the same so the imported ID's needed to be manually converted. I kept it incase some of the threads did not convert properly. 3,569 visitors, 191 members, 584 posts, man, have we come a long way!!
Hey, how about this one: http://opelgt.com/list/list.php I have not touched that in 3 or 4 years and people are still registering their sites and voting.

Does anyone here remember the old Armory list, and the days when there were two Opel mailing lists with all the squabbles about merging?
Curious to know how many members go back that far?

Wow...I had no idea!
A quick google search turned up this:
http://d.armory.com/~taz/Opel/OpelGT.html
Says it was dead for a few years but has been resurrected.
