I tried to put my rear sway bar in my GT and the hardware doesn't look like the right plate.I think it should be an L not flat.If any one can help that would be great. Thanks Tim

my addco rear bar came with angle iron for the brackets too, i dont see how a flat piece would work as it should, i'd call them and get the right stuff.
previousely owned 8 GTs and 1 manta.
currently own

I saw those pics that is why I figured I would confirm before I call Addco back. Thanks guys that is what I needed to know. Now I can call them on Monday.
I could never get the rear Addco bar to work on my GT. They gave me the angled brackets but the bend in the bar seemed to be in the wrong place. It's been sitting in my garage for two years. The front fit perfectly.
Good Luck.

which is better if u can only do one? the front or back?

I was wondering the same thing, Adam! My guess is that the rear would provide the most benefit.
Bosco, you should check the number off it to make sure they sent you the right bar!
If so, I am sure you could sell it to someone here.

"ever notice you are never done tinkering with the GT?"
Never mind, I am WAAAY beyond tinkering now...
Finally got the right hardware today! So I put the sway bar in and it looks good.It did take me a little longer than I planned on about an hour.I am not sure which one has the most benifit.I figure do them both. Thanks again Tim
good to hear that u got it in...
