    Pinion bearings GT vs Manta

I just got a new set of pinion bearings for my 72 GT from NAPA...I compared the OD to an old set of Manta bearing and the Manta bearings are larger or NAPA gave me the wrong parts, if the bearings are the same for both cars.

    NAPA part numbers:
    BR32206 $26.25 for pinion
    PBR32206 $14.49 for pinion
    BR19150 carrier bearing $26.52
    BR19268 carrier bearing race $12.30

    Thanks for any help...

    #s on Bearings ..

NAPA numbers are a bit obscure here.
What Bearing Manufacturer name and numbers are stamped on the actual bearings?
The possiblitiy is that the smaller bearings supplied may be for the 1.1 litre engined GT as the diff for them is quite a lot smaller than the 1.9 litre diff.
Have been searching for some of the smaller bearings myself!

I'll get the numbers off the bearings and post them tomorrow.

I ordered a pinion seal from NAPA for a GT and it was the wrong size. My guess is that they don't have a reliable parts list for Opels. I ended up getting it at Autozone.

some more part number info. off the parts from NAPA.

pinion seal NAPA p/n 17750 is a CR 45x60x8 CRW1 R which I assume gives the dimension in mm. made by Chicago Rawhide.

    NAPA p/n BR32206 is SKF bearing 32206J2/Q & race 32206/Q also has
20 234X on the race. part made in Germany

NAPA p/n PBR32206 says KML 32206 and CHINA on both the bearing & race.

Think I'm on the right track for the GT pinion bearings and seal?

    Thanks

When I went through this I took the whole pile of bearings to my friend at Kaman Bearings and he did all the research and came up with: we have to order them from Germany.
Thanks again, Stan Czacki. (He sold me the 4.22 gears complete w/ locked spider/side gears in the carrier housing, then ALL the rear end bearings)
My lesson was, there is no cheap way to overhaul a rear end unless someone needs to get rid of their spare parts.
