    Paint colors

Hi everyone!! I just have a quick question, and I probably dont even have it in the right forum, but here goes=
Were there any GT's ORIGINALLY IN BLACK? Both of mine were red, and I've seen the green color but this one thing I do know= DO NOT under any circumstances, ask someone at your local parts store!!!! Especially if he or she or it looks to be about half your age , and asks you what kind of GT it is!!!!!!!!! The book that I HAD back in the 80's had the paint chips in it but that was a long time ago. Its the age thing again. (bad memory).
OH well, any info would be appreciated.

    Colours ....

Any colour - except Black! No black ever listed as a factory colour for GTs:

Alpine White; Glacier Blue; Strato Blue; Regency Blue; Antique Bronze; Grecian Silver; Jade Mist; Deep Burgundy; Fire Glow; Flame Red; Rallye Gold and Chrome Yellow; Aztec Gold; Astro Silver; Jade Green; ...... no Black at all!

    Thanx A Bunch !!!!!!

Thanx be to all who replied to my question about paint colors.
I only wish that I had been able to have access to this GREAT OPEL COMMUNITY back in the 80's when I could'nt find parts and most of the comments that I got when I asked questions about helping me work on my GT
or for assistance in locating parts were=
    1) Idont work on them=the are METRIC or my favorite
    2) what does a girl want with that kind of a car anyway- it's a standard shift
    sports car!!!!
ANYWAY, keep up the good work, and thankx for letting me be an ever learning member. This is Victoria, the (not so new) in the bunch signing off.
