    Stock fuel pump

I'm replacing the fuel pump in my GT, the new one from OGTS came with the thick spacer but no paper gaskets. Do I have to make them or do I instal it with out the paper gaskets?

Did you save the plastic spacer from your old pump? I'd use the old spacer with new gaskets.

I don't know about the plastic spacer, the pump came with a thick asbestos spacer and the book talks about 2 paper gaskets. I went ahead and made them, put it back together and so far so good.

They should be of the correct thickness or you may wear out the pump prematurely. I have an extra set if you would like them...Joe
