Try rocking the car back and forth in gear
I was going to bring my car into my shop to check out the responses to my previous thread and it appears that the clutch plate has adhered to the flywheel. It is a rebuilt clutch that I installed last summer. When I last drove it all was fine. I parked it in the garage for the winter, and now it won't disengage. I checked the adjustment and that was certainly is not the problem. The cable is brand new and is working fine. The pedal is too.Does anyone have any ideas how to break it loose without having to pull the engine?

Falling is fun,
It's that sudden stop at the end that sucks.

This is a common problem with the clutch disk sticking to the flywheel . Put car in neutral and push outside and with the car heading in a straight clear path , crank car up and warm up to operating temps. , cut off car put in first gear put foot on brakes ,then crank car up ( Danger :car will move forward but with the brakes applied clutch may release ) If this does not work you may have to remove trans. to unbolt clutch . I have seen holes drilled in the bell housing so the clutch can be lossen from the flywheel from the bottom with the car on stands and someone depressing the clutch pedal and using a thin putty knife to free the disk .
