Easier Way to View Photo's

I think there should be some easier way to view a members photo's. It seems like a hassle just to view a few pictures. Possibly when you click on a members name in a post or something, when that menu pulls down, maybe have a link right on there to view all their pictures? Just an idea that I think would make things a lot easier.

Agreed. When someone posts to go their gallery, it's a hassle, if there's an easier way I don't know it yet. Would be great to have that in the pull down menu of the posters name.

I thought that I was the only one having problems with viewing pictures. I think it's a royal PIA. I hate to look at the pictures in the member's albums. It's a bit clunky the way that the pictures scroll across the screen, and they don't seem to be in the order that they were in the layout view. Don't even get me talking about opening a new window with each picture...

Thumbs up

Hang in there. The next release of the forum program (Currently in beta testing) will address that along with a greatly enhanced profile page, integrated Blogs and a "Social network" feature that we can use for regional clubs.

How do you put a pic thumbnail in your post? And do all pic's have to be approved before you can post them?

Go to Edit Signature in the User CP. There is a section at the bottom of the page to add a picture.

I thought I was the only one that hated the Photo interface. It is hard to remember the sequence of clicks necessary to bring up a member's entire album on one page and not have to use that scrolling picture or slideshow interface. Glad to hear it will be improved!

I have a request for the new interface: if there are options on how to configure the member album page, please make it so that clicking on a member's Album Name brings up their entire album represented as one or more pages of thumbnails like this. The slideshow or scrolling interface could then be options from that page.

Thanks,

Matt

As Matt described above. It is called an "avatar". Yes, a Moderator has to approve all photos and comments in the Photo Gallery

I definatley agree with Newman. I'm glad I wasn't the only one that had problems! I think half the time when trying to look through pictures, I end up giving up because it is just too much of a hassle. Sometimes it's better just to keep things SIMPLE.
