what's going on here.

I just posted a question titled "early 69 GT". It looked fine but needed an edit, after the edit, it has a bunch of extra stuff included in the text. What did I do?

Interesting... It was a code to link to another site when the mouse was moved over. It replaced the word "date".

I just edited it out. Did you use the paste function during your edit? Try editing the post once more.

On this post, I edited by adding quotation marks to the title, nothing happened. On the early 69 post, I clicked the edit screen and all that other stuff reappeared with me doing nothing more than hitting the edit button! I went back and re-edited to remove,it went away, I re-edited and it came back, I removed it again and again went back to edit, this time nothing changed. I don't know?
