what's going on

Hi, This morning my computer seems to be acting funny on this site. When I scroll down or up, the screen jumps around and a partial black screen appears for a millisec. Anyone else noticing this. Everything seems to be working otherwise.

Sounds like a component of your computer has overheated, more than likely it would be your video card. Your monitor might be about to give up the ghost, but I doubt it.

Try a reboot, if that doesn't do it, shut down and let it cool for a while.

If your computer case is easy to open, you may want to pop the cover and feel around and see if any components are hot to the touch.

Follow my advice at your own risk

Thanks for the advice, I should have mentioned that it is only doing it on this site. I checked a few other sites to see if it would do it anywhere I went and it's only here. My computer better not be getting tired of visiting here or else it will have to find a new home... in the dumpster!

If you mean the vBulletin Mod, no it seems to work fine there.

I just did a reboot and it's all back to normal. Funny how it only affected things here. Guess I don't have to throw my computer away now.
