Thumbs up Gary and THIS site vs others

When the thread started about the Buick invite I went and checked out their site/s to see if there were any opinions from the 'Buickers' about the issue. Thought at first I was missing something when I got to the national/main site but as I checked out the satellite clubs I realized what I was seeing was all there was to these pages.
I was totally blown away. They had nothing. It was as interesting and tempting as ........ I can't think of anything boring enough. There were no forums. No way to interact with other members. You had no way to even know if there were any. Links? Maybe a newsletter link (that you had to sign up to get) and some for other clubs. Possibly a pic or two. You can go look if you want - not going to bore you to death. (too late?)
Here's my point. This site is a gift. Not only do we have all the choices, forums, ads, links, a chat for God's sake, and pics from member galleries to being able to show them in links but we have all the little extras to go along with them to personalize and detail and enhance. We can actually 'see' other members and their involvement, talk to each other, get immediate help most days that's shared eagerly with no jealous guarding secrets, and don't have to go thru emails to pass along time sensitive info. We've all talked about the members and the efforts and invites from other members and how great that is.
All this and more is on a professional layout that's damn easy to navigate with features and improvements are added all the time. Moderators are needed and available to help out (willing volunteers I might add) so that one guy doesn't have to try to keep up with timely monitoring.
Big etcetera.
We give Gary 'kudos' for things and I know he's appreciated but I realized I had gotten complacent and just accepted this site being here with all the bells and whistles. I know there are other sites out there that are probably good ones but I don't have the time to go look for them and this is about our site. Take another look at what we've got thru the efforts of one person who does this for nothing but dedication, enjoyment and our benefit.
So here's to Gary. Give him a stadium full of fanatic fans with all the attendant cheers, whistles, screams and clapping.
Thanks Gary. (Eardrum blasting stadium noises )

Not to give away how old I am, but for me an appropriate 50s CA response is necessary, in my best Fonzie imitation, "it's cool".
