I was just surfing through some of the old moderator forums. This was a post that Gary made back on Christmas Eve, 2002:

Seems like just yesterday when we only had a few more members than the classicopels site, which I think was at 750 members at the time. Now, the classicopels site is at 1044, but we have 4,969 members! Holy CRAP! What is REALLY interesting, is how the monthly post count has been going:

The September 2004 count for classicopels was only 121, compared to 865 in 2002. Kind of sad, really. But the OGT.com count has been something like 30 a day (I don't know how to determine the exact count), so we have been getting over 1000 posts a month. And I would have to say, based on how many posts I moderate each night, that the number is increasing. To date, we have had 4270 threads, with 36,512 posts. And 5.3 MILLION hits! Who'd have thunk....
