Are ad threads updated ?

If a car or car part is sold why is it still in the ads? I hope I posted this in the right place. You guys are so sensitive about every post,that I get nervous asking. :o I am sure you will put it where it belongs if I messed up

A notice is sent out when an ad has 3 days left. They are supposed to be purged if not renewed. That feature may not be working.

Good question, Rose! Don't be nervous asking - that is how this site becomes so great, with us all asking questions and finding out new stuff all the time.
Besides which you have Baz, Gary, KWilford and the other moderators looking out for new members and keeping old twits like me in line!
One time a whole engine building thread "disappeared" (over 200 posts!) because none of us knew that if the first post was deleted the whole thread ceased to exist! That is why posts can only be edited for 24 hours now.
So even some of us "Old Opel Dogs" still mess up too!

You are welcome to post anything you wish about Opels or this site - and it our problem if we are "sensitive" and not yours!
