Unanswered: Breather hose won't stay in

Is there any trick to keeping the big hose that goes from the valve cover to the carb in the valve cover? My old one stayed in fine, but it was in bad shape and finally busted in two. The new one from OGTS is a bit larger and while it fits in the hole, it doesn't stay in very well. I keeps working its way out.

many of us use steel coolant adapters. threaded on one side and a 3/8" or 3/4" hose fitting on the other. you just thread it into the soft alumium hole and you have an easy hook up from then on.

Lightbulb Valve cover breather hose

I insert a short piece of 1/2" hard copper tubing into the end of the hose and then insert the hose into the hole . . . never failed me yet!
