Unanswered: Help! Solex

Anyone have a pic of which screw on the (Solex with an electric choke,) to adjust to set the idle higher? This is for a 1.9 low compression GT engine. We only have a few days left on the pass to get it inspected and pass the emissions test. Can't seem to keep the engine going, it just dies, you have to razz the engine to keep the gas flowing.

Love Opels ... H A T E Solii !!

Liz, The only adjustment I have ever done on a Solex is to undo the four mounting bolts and throw one or two away!

However, here is the idle adjustment pic & page fromthe FSM .. Hope it helps .. till you find a "real" carb - a Weber!
