Unanswered: hoses to carb/wiring problem

I hope this is found in its right place. as i don't know my way around here.
This is OPEL KIDS father.
This is for a 69 opel gt 1.9l / man trans.
As some on her know hes trying to rebuild firewall where the gas,etc pedals
go, and i had to replace the Radiator support bracket. and the whole
light buckets and brackets. All this was torched out of the car.

Well i finally got all this back where it belongs.
But as i have no experience with Opel's i need you patience and help.

1) Can any one tell me or show pics of where the hoses go to the solex carb?

2) To the right of your fuse box you have 2 Plug ins one white and a black one. We have the white one but not the black. I believe both go to steering
wheel. And i think the black one works the turning signal. is this right?
Do any of you have any idea's on how to fix this?
I have a 72 gt for a parts car. I can take wires from it but the wires don't line up.

3) The wire harness with the wire that plugs to the brake booster.(white wire)
I believe also has the three wires that plugs to the starter.(Red & two black wires)
We also have a blue/black wire and a black wire together, Than
Two red wires a green wire and a yellow and black wire witch these
two wires are Fused together.
Can anyone help with this?
Iamb thinking my be generator,I really have no clue...
Thanks

Hose connections:

This illustrates connections to a Weber
carburetor (which is similar, though not
exact, to the Solex connection locations).
7-page Adobe Acrobat download:

Wiring:
Original wiring guide for a 1969 Opel GT
is here:

Conenctions for the "white plug" to the
steering column, are here:

http://www.opelclub.com/IgnitonSwitchRelayTechTip.pdf

The wires on the black plug, do mostly
operate the turn signal circuitry.
The question is there a wire loom that should come out of the steering column,
or is it missing? If it's not there entirely,
the 1972 steering column can replace
it, but you still have to make sure it
is wired correctly.

One alternative, is to view the diagram
of the individual turn signal circuit,
which is part of the 1973 Opel factory
service manual, available here:

Group 1J - Wiring Diagrams - Powered by OpelGT.com

The BEST wiring guide, is sold by a member
on this board, name "DESTEC", and last I heard it could be purchased by mail
for about $25-$29. This covers the entire car.

The DESTEC GT wiring schematic is by far one of the better purchases you can make. The only real problem, if you can consider it a problem, is it does not cover, exactly, the early GT headlight wiring, and each year up to 71-72 has been known to be different. One of your best tools on this site will be the search button. Just type in a specific word or phrase for what you're looking for and multiple threads will be shown on your screen. Almost every problem encountered on the GT has been queried and answered here on the site, so be patient, and prepared for a lot of reading and your problem will be found along with the cure. Of course if you can't find the answer, do what you have done in this thread and ask away, someone has done the cure and will respond, or point you in the right direction.

Solex Hoses

Here's a link from this forum "Where Do The Hoses Go?"

http://www.opelgt.com/photos/data/53...er_vac_pic.jpg

Covers the Weber configuration as well. HTH,

Harold.
