Unanswered: bad choke/ jumpy take offs

hello guys and gals.. i have been in a search of a good weber for some time now and i need to get car going good until i can get one.. if i have the choke set where it will actually idle while cold it will be all jumpy when you take off.. makes you think tranny.. but im pretty sure its carb, it doesnt do it when it is warm.. but im tired of my car dying after i start it, and tired of holding my foot on the gas for around 5-10 mins to keep it running until it gets a little warmed up and then it will idle on its on.. so i got it where it will idle on its on.. but if i take off after starting it while its still a little cold it will be really jumpy and little noisey... is the only way to get rid of this is to get the weber?

billy at the rate this carb/ ignition problem is going it would be cheaper and quicker to put it in to a shop and have the 2 set up by a pro then you will have the gremlin that lives in them exorcised
if they say the carb or dizzy is no good you would then know what to change
