free for shipping rear speaker panel

As some of you might recall, my GT was destroyed this spring, and NO I'm not over it!!! I did get a cool little MG but well......back on topic.
I took out the PO created rear speaker panel. It is black vinyl covered and held two 6 1/2" round woofers, two little tweeters and had crossovers screwed onto the back. I cannibalized the speakers and crossovers for my MG but maybe someone would like this panel? It's pretty cool. black vinyl piece from floor of "parcel tray" up to where the stock vinyl flap would go, then a hinged black carpet covered piece that press fits up against the rear deck. The hinged part folds down for access to spare tire area. I'll go looking for pictures in a bit.
Anyway, it has no speaker, just holes but is too nice to throw away.
How's Opel life anyway? I miss it here, best community on the web. MG guys are great too but not the same.

Thanks. Great summer. Midget's saving grace is being a convertible, love that. Enjoying it.
Here's a picture of that panel installed. It's 37" x 10" and weighs 11lbs.
Still had the vinyl flap at that point but I threw that away as it was trashed, underneath it is black carpet covered wood that folds up and press fits in. Only time it came down was when the car crashed!

Opels and MGs do mix... Started with opels and added ( ten years ago) an mgb for those nice days when you can drop the top and just cruise getting about 30 mpg in city driving. Not having an overdrive on the mgb and the fact that most TX trucks could run over the car in traffic keep me from driving on the freeways. Great car to putter around in. Ron

Glad you are getting over your major Opel loss!
I have a 1959 Triumph TR3, like the MG they are cool cars.
Plus parts are very easy to get, Moss motros, Roadster factory, and they have the best illustrated catalog Ive ever seen!
But...............if I go to a "non british" car show my Opel GT gets way more looks than my TR3, rare around here.
I'm sure it was a tough decision not getting another GT.
Stay in touch, you have alot of Opel experience, don't want to lose you.

Just a bump, still have that panel, still free to a good home, just pay the shipping, around $15 to most places. Or anyone in or passing through west Michigan, pick it up! It's boxed up and ready as I thought someone wanted it but they disappeared on me I think. I'm tired of stumbling over it.

Midget is finally (mostly) bug free and I do really like it. Still miss my GT in a horrible way though. Made the critical error of looking at some again......
