    That's exactly what I'm doing right now, the 2.2 Rekord was imported from Germany to the US just for the engine and gearbox to go into my Kadett B 1900. But - the Rekord will have a second life, with a C20XE with a few goodies including a Lexmaul RAM and Getrag 5-speed from a Rekord 1.8
    I'm not feeling bad at all for doing it this way!!!

    No, it's a GLS. Very typical old-man dark blue cord/velour (or whatever it is) interior. That's why I put "HSNTRGR" (Hosenträger) on my license plate.

    With leather steering wheel and most the owner drowe alone.Allways the same.I think you only can change outside color from
    blue to silver.Opel in the 80th! Bla bla bla!
