    I bought the car in 2000. This was my second GT. It was in much better condition than my other GT. It came off the lot in California in '73, moved here to Austin, TX in '74 and has been here every since. I bought it from the second owner who bought it in '74. It was their 3rd car and always garage kept. I am carrying on that tradition.

    Modifications

    - Converted the front side markers to blinkers with
    clear lenses and amber bulbs
    - Converted blinkers in grill to sealed beam driving
    lights, like the European-style Opel GTs.
    -LED third brake light mounted up in the vent
    - Rewired the headlights
    - Flush mount aircraft style fuel filler from a Harley
    - Engelmann sport mirrors
    - Professionally Tinted the windows.
    - Chrome plated the tail-panel trim strip
    -removed front bumperettes

    -Momo steering wheel
    -Acura Integra seats
    -75 Manta seat belts
    -original crack free dash
    -fire extinguisher

    -Pioneer in dash CD player
    -just a pair of 6" speakers for now
    -It's an Opel! The entertainment is just driving it!
    This is all the entertainment I need.

    - 32/36 DGEV Weber carburetor
    - Ported intake manifold
    - Custom built Cold-air intake with Air Aid filter
    - 4-Core radiator with coolant overflow tank
    - Sprint exhaust manifold with stainless steel studs
    - 2 exhaust pipe going through a turbo muffler
    - Polished stock GT valve cover
    - Pertronix igniter
    - Jacobs Street ignition system and ignition coil
    - Ignition protection-relay
    - Ultima 65-amp one wire alternator
    - Optima red top battery
    - Sachs heavy-duty clutch
    - Getrag 5-speed {hand-carried back from Germany by myself}

    - Sport front leaf spring, with a 2 drop
    - Cut the rear coils to make the car level.
    - Koni Red classics front and rear
    - Polyurethane front, rear suspension, bump stops, and rack mounts
    - Adjustable panhard rod, with heim joint on one end
    end and poly on the other

    ESM wheels
    16x7.5" front with 215/40 16's
    16x9" rear with 245/35 16s
    Put in longer wheel studs in the back, I also have 3mm spacers in the back as the inside of the wheel made contact withe the inner fender/body seam.
