    Sprint Manifold

OPEL GT SPRINT MANIFOLD EXHAUST HEADER 1.9L 2.0L | eBay

Sprint manifold listed on eBay starting for $150 plus $50 shipping from Germany to the USA. Pictures suggest that it is the larger exhaust flange European version. Appears to be in very good condition. Three (3) days to auction close.

Seems like a lot of money for a factory exhaust manifold......for almost that money one can pick up a brand new OGTS header.......ceramic coated to boot Gotta love ceramic in keeping heat temps under control around the engine!

Pedal car or soap box derby wheels

Here's an ad for Opel pedal car wheels:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=220990914867

Paired up with this seller's 3 wheels he's been offering:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Phoe...item46028f83f9

You can now make a derby car or a trash can cart or wheels for your Opel tool box in the garage.

Who knows anything about Opel pedal cars? Same wheel size? I notice these wheels don't have the lightning bolt through the center like the ones the guy with 3 wheels have.

Could make a great little cart to carry your beer around in at Opel meets.....

Well looks like someone didn't think it was to much. I thought the common consensus was that the sprint manifold was better than headers, I would assume because it is a heavier piece than a header so the exhaust heat is more effective in helping with exhaust scavenging. Oh well, moot point now as I always seem to miss out or get out bid on stuff like that anyway:banghead:

My doctor said it was just allergies!

I contacted the seller to verify whether he knew for sure if they came from a pedal car and he said he didn't actually know where they were from exactly.

I've got to get me one of THESE:

    Available at this website:

    Red Baron Pedal Plane

A bit pricey. My birthday is in August(hint, hint). Me and Dieter could sit on my $550 pedal car and drink out of his $530 mug!

    3 pedal car offer!

    Look at this!:

RED BARON PEDAL BI-PLANE, SAD FACED FIRETRUCK, 1929 JOLOPY MODEL T | eBay

3 nice red pedal cars, one of which is the Red Baron one that I gotta have. Who wants to go in with me and lives in the Indiana area(local pick up only)? He does say later that he'll ship, but it will be expensive. I'll pay $200 for the plane, if we get the trio at $400 that's only $100 each for the other two. Anybody interested?

    Gordon,
I'm picturing this pedal car being towed on a small trailer behind the Red Baron GT. Somewhere Manfred Von Richthoven would be proud of you!

    Pedal car is mine!

I started negotiating with the seller of the 3 pedal cars and we closed the deal on just the Red Baron one. $300 plus shipping. That's a good enough deal. I searched around, checked Craig's List locally, and just couldn't find a deal anywhere close.

At 45" long, that baby will just barely fit on the roof of the GT......

It'll be great for car shows. Little kids can get put in it and get their photos taken. Car show judges love that stuff. You don't have to have the best car, just the one that people like the most. I'll use it as a beer cooler at Carlisle. And drive it to work during the week......

Pedal Car Thoughts, Ruminations and Ruinations.......

With the price of gas being what it is these days, we all just might be using a pedal car to get around!

I can now see an Ebay run and scramble for any Opel pedal car made in this world!

Gordon: Congrats! Please bring it over when we all get together again at JerseyDaves. I'm calling shotgun!

I've heard it said that often as we age, we often regress towards our childhood years.....maybe that is regress or PROgress!

RallyBob presenting anything with a Blitz on it to Gordo is like flame to the moth! Here, kitty, kitty, kitty!

With a "special" thescifiguy price of $500? What a deal!

You never should have closed your business, Bob. I could have single-handedly kept you in green backs for years!

Man, those hub caps are cool! I can't believe that people don't climb all over each other to get those!

Hmmm.....maybe if I buy the Opel soap box derby wheels, put your hub caps on them, and then put them on the pedal car and make the coolest little GT mini-trailer to pull behind the Red Baron.......

The mind boggles at the possibilities........

I've already regressed to the kiddie car stage. If I regress any further I'll be buying binkies with Opel blitzes on them!

Not sure if the Red Baron pedal car will add "LIFT" or "DOWN FORCE" secured to your GT roof. Just drill holes in the GT roof to locate strategically placed eye bolts for tie-downs.
