Those speed nuts don't work very well. I call that type "sheet metal nuts". They are also called "push nuts" because you don't really screw them on, you push them on. There are round ones that work much better than those rectangular ones. I didn't like how poorly they held the lens in place, so I added Goop glue around the edges. That worked very well. The nuts weren't needed.

The posts in the turn signal cans that you push those nuts onto are about 1/8" in diameter. That is the size to look for.

    These are push nuts:

This type is what I call a real speed nut that you can screw on and off:

    Thank you Gordon
But I need the same as Gil show up.
Only two cramp at each nut.Must be rectangular!
The round ones are to hard to lose them by repair.
Most the dealers here sell the round ones,I say

I think I can get those at my local hardware store.
Opel GTs are not GM products

How does this look? 10 x 15 mm, the round hole part in the center is 2.7 mm dia, galvanised spring steel (verzinkter Federstahl). The shown screw is a #8 sheet metal screw (outside dia 4mm).
I have a couple hundred in my stash.

McMaster-Carr in the US or maybe a good Wurth distributor in the EU.
    "No, it's not fiberglass."
"No, the motor is not in the back."
"No, your friend in high school did not 'peg' his speedometer."

Leftovers from work. We used them on the older (W166) AMG ML/GLE bumpers. I'll be happy to put a handful in a letter to you, PM me your address again.
