    15. Give up; crawl under car and hammer a screwdriver through oil filter
    and twist off.
    16. Crawl out from under car with dripping oil filter splashing oil
everywhere from holes. Cleverly hide old oil filter among trash in trash
can to avoid environmental penalties. Drink a beer.
    17. Buddy shows up; finish case of beer with him. Decide to finish oil
change tomorrow so you can go see his new garage door opener.
    18. Sunday: Skip church because "I gotta finish the oil change." Drag

    lawnmower gas.
    29. Discover that first quart of fresh oil is now on the floor. Throw
    kitty litter on oil spill.

You forgot the part about getting the wrong filter for your Opel and having to drive back downtown to yell at the parts guy, who is kind enough to nod like a bobble-head doll, tell you that the filter is unreturnable (it has oil all over and several dent marks from getting whipped across the garage). Also, is able to tell you with a straight face that he can't cross-reference the old filter that came off the car because you hammered a screwdriver through it.

And we can't forget about the additional cost of having a new (and hopefully correct) filter overnighted from the opposite coast so that you can make it to work on Monday.

But mere pennies in comparison to the DUI
    Keep it Blitzed
