    New GT Owner

New GT owner here! I just acquired from my Father's, a 1970 GT in stock condition. He was the original owner and saved everything - window sticker, manuals, receipts, I have it all. Just need to purchase insurance an enjoy.

At some point I'll start posting pictures of the car and documentation. I also acquired quite a parts and manuals stash, so may post those in the For Sale area.

    Cheers!

Welcome! Would you mind uploading photos of the original documentation that came with the car? After my restoration is done, I'd like to remake some of the documentation like the window sticker. Just for another unique touch, my car won't be stock. So, it would be neat to create stuff that made it look stock.

    No problem.

I plan on scanning in and posting everything the car came with new once I have it all in one place. It is very cool to have the windows sticker, original sales receipt, title and even the little key to lock down the antenna.

For insurance, I'd recommend getting a quote from Hagerty. A lot of people around here have insurance through Hagerty and they are very easy to work with. Hagerty isn't the underwriter of their policies, but I'm happy with them.

I considered Hagerty for the insurance, however, my agent allowed me to insure it for market value, not book value, so I insured it for $20K.
