    CoolMokka owner

    Hi guys.

I'm a Mokka owner, my first Opel. Although my dad has owned a Monza and Astra.

Before this I had a Honda FRV, Mercedes 200, Alfa Sud and still own a Alfa Giulia.

    Cheers

Welcome! Interesting stable of cars. I'm guessing you are not from the US, since we never saw
the Mokka or some of your other previous cars. Although this site is populated mostly by North American
Opel owners and fans, there are members from all parts of the world.
    Cheers,

    Thanks Norbert,
I should have guessed that there was some GM/Buick DNA in there.
I also saw this on the Mokka Wiki page:

Bitter has been producing a luxury version of the Mokka since 2016. Facelifted in the end of 2016 along with the Vauxhall and Opel models, the name was also changed to Mokka X.[15] The differences between the Bitter and Opel versions are mainly cosmetic.

There is a lot more DNA in GM/Opel.That is why I be soooo sad that I must swap the Brand from Opel to Mercedes Benz after 45 years .I was so in hope the Buick Avista would come,so in Germany as a new Calibra
or Commodore. But we all know the history! Not a new Calibra will start under Peugeot
    Only SUV`s by Opel
Otherwise GM/Buick can`t build souch cars without Opel/Vauxhall.They only can build Trucks, thats all.

It is realy sad that the great history of Coupe`s by GM/Opel is dead.

Yes, it is the same here. Most US automakers have phased out coups and sedans and loaded up on trucks, SUVs and crossovers.
I'm not sure if this is permanent though since tastes change. I remember when american convertibles were all but extinct,
but they made a big comeback. I agree about the Avista. A very stunning concept which I would have loved to see in production.
My daily driver is a 2006 BMW E46, which I will probably drive until the wheels fall off.
    Cheers,

    Hello Jetcar
Wellcome to the world from Opel Historic Car`s!
Here you can learn a lot camaraderie and passion in theme No 1: OPEL
Congratulation to the first Opel Mokka.Let us see how long Peugeot will build the Mokky further!Next to
Grandland X and Crossland X all Rommel Cars.Maybe the wrong way to let the sporty cars died.
Last year I went to my Opel Dealer to see what can I buy for my retirement.
Ha,I sit in the Mokka X and made a proof drive.Oh oh,a nice car but a sight like a Rommel Tank.
I have see nothing to outside and look arround,NOTHING!Next fail is,I can´t clean the windshield without a stepladder. So I go after 45 years on Opel Cars and swap to Mercedes Benz.My son search for the Benz and I be realy happy.

Now I have only my 1971 Opel GT as my medicine for bad days! I love my GT

    Norbert

    Schöne Grüße an alle Flachkadetten!
