    TalkingJust arrived

    Hi all,

Just got my 1973 Opel GT from being in storage for a long long time. I am looking forward to refurbishing her and getting her going down the road. I thought I would include a pic as no else can see the beauty in her but you guys/gals and me.

How in the world do I get an image to post. I have tried [imgxxx/img] but it doesn't seem to want a work. I looked through the directions on how to do it. Help me out please.

    Unhappy

Well, all my files are too large and I am not computer savvy enough to figure out how to shrink them. Thanks 72GT for the tip. Guess I will have to link to pics instead. Sorry about the inconvience.

You can use the IrfanView program that is downloadable from this site to reduce your picture size. Congratulations on bringing your GT out of storage. Have you decided how much of a restoration you are going to do?

    First

First order of business is draining and refilling all the fluids. I am planning to start this next week because I work this weekend. I plan to get it started and go from there. It will be the proverbial money pit but it was my father's car and handed down to me. It has so much sentimental value that I even was threatened to be killed by my sister if I decided to sell it (which of course won't happen). So, I will go at it slowly as time permits. One problem/frustration at a time. LOL.
