1971 Opel 1900 coupe (Manta body before it was called a Manta). Auto trans. Former wife, for whom I gave care for 25 years, always had an Opel, including one new one, a Manta Luxus, a 1974. Loved the exhaust sound. She was a renaissance woman; became stricken with cerebral multiple sclerosis; county required nursing home care when she was 49, seven years ago. Would like the car to go to a good home. 83,300 miles. It has been parked for about nine years but engine turned over nicely by hand last fall. It was repainted the original bronze color about 12 years ago; some significant rust again, mostly in the front fenders. Everything worked when it was parked, except the horn, which has an aftermarket button, and the condenser, which was haywired in.
Would far prefer giving it to someone who could give it a good home, even use it for parts, rather than junk it.
