Yah, Welcome. Don't get disencouraged by being one of the younger members. There are plenty on here. I am only 16, getting my GT when I was 14..now here 2 years later its almost complete and I am very happy with the car. It had taken LOTS of work and bad days, but in the long run, its way worth it!

As for the engine not starting, it could be a million things. If it rolls over but doesnt start, since it has been sitting for 25 years, I would check the spark plugs, clean them up, and see if they are even sparking. If no spark, probably the condenser and points, or maybe solenoid. If the car starts with pouring gas or "Quick Start" into the carb, then check your fuel pump pressure, make sure your filter isnt clogged (Should replace it anyway) or disconnect your gasline, drain the tank, and blow air through the line to check for clogged. Hopes this helps! Post some more information on that engine, and possibly some pictures of the car in general!

BTW, check out my Photo Album to see what 2 years of hard work, and some nice parents that will lend some money, can do for ya!

Heck- I'm 59 and still remember what my daddy once told me.. "Son-he always called me son- Son, if you only learn one new thing a day and you live long enough, one day you will know it all."
