main thing to do is take advantage of the search on this site. this site has everything that you can think of, if its not on here then its prolly not important. your best source for things would be opel gt source in CA. www.opelgtsource.com and ebay.com is good too.

    welcome to the opel world

    Try Local

I thought the parts would also be hard to fiind and some are, so OGTS is the place to call. The good news however, is some of the parts can be had at your local parts store. A starter for my 73 GT was here the next day from the out of town wherehouse.

Every now and then they have owner manuals and service manuals for the 69, as it was a little different in some of the wiring areas. Owner manuals and service manuals for that particular year come up on Eby as well.
Hemmings also has a wiring diagram for the 69 here. http://clubs.hemmings.com/frameset.cfm?club=oana

Every now and then Ebay does a free or penny listing week. It brings out Opel stuff with a vengence. I picked up a 69 manual for 8 bucks that way. The 70 has the same wiring quirks so it would be a good find as well. An interesting note is there is a Gentleman in Georgia that has the manual on CD in original format so it can be printed out. Gene you listening?
