hello Brinki and welcome to Opel GT.com. Maybe you could help a couple of us here in the USA that have need for some parts? We are looking for 3, air flow meters for middle 80's vintage 2.2 liter fuel injected Opel engines? do you think you could find them for us? Thanks

Didn't know that you lived near Kiel, Brinki. Born there in bunker during bombing raid in '42. Interesting.

    Hi,Otto!!
Born in an bunker??? I can´t believe it!!!! When did you leave Kiel??
I grow up in Kiel , no i live about 14km south of Kiel in Bordesholm.

    Hi,Tomking!
Please help me, my english is not as good as it seems :o what is an air flow meter??

be sure, i´ll be proud to help ya guys fitting and servicing your old teutonic opels
most of the technical parts are avaiable in german for less money than in the states, i think. And if you do a "more people" order, it will be cheaper for shipping

    bye to all

    Brinki,
Daß heißt Luftmengenmesser (air volume measure) auf Deutsch . . . zB. bei Bosch L-Jetronic Einspritzung, die Buchstabe "L" bedeuted "Luftmengen".

For many years, I still had two aunts and an uncle, in-law, in Eckernförde . . . all gone now. Only a cousin left in Elmshorn . . . most male relatives died in the war . . . my father and one uncle in Russia.

Habe ich selbst geschrieben. Leider gibt es hier nicht viel Gelegenheiten um mein Deutsch noch ein bißchen weiter zu üben. Gerade schlechter geht's mit mein Niederlandisch . . .
