    OMC Blitz? CD or DVD?

Is there a way I can purchase a substantial amount of back issues of the newsletter? I saw certain ones advertised on the OMC site but I want like, say the past 5 years worth. Can I purchase those on a DVD or CD or is my best bet just joining and getting ones from now on? Let me know. Thanks
    Andy

Available in Print at this time

Back issues of the OMC Blitz are
available in print versions at this time.
(In limited cases, a xerox is available,
when the original print edition has sold out).

Although OMC Blitz issues back to 1996 have
been scanned, no decision on their distribution
has been made. Discussions on disposition of
earlier issues is ongoing, although it should be
noted that some of the technical information
in older issues (pre-1995) is of more limited
quality (as many parts referenced then, are no
longer in production, and some procedures
    have been updated).

Ok so theres no way I can get a disc with that info then? I'm willing to join the club and pay whatever, it would be so much easier because I have a computer in my shop and could just look up the information so easily. Thanks for the quick response.

    Soon (Maybe)

I would venture to say, something of
that sort will likely be released in the near
future, although there is nothing available
    at this time. Stay tuned!

    How You Can Help

It would be great, if the process was far along enough, thata release on CD would be of benefit to all.

(Some of the old issues, need individual pages re-imaged,to make up for problems caused by the old wet-print
production techniques -- like half-tone pixellation).

Instead, aspects of some of the older tech tips, are being re-compiled with more current subject matter.

What holds that up, is the time required to complete the(new, larger-sized) current issues of the Blitz.

If you want to help, please submit YOUR articles(event coverage, technical projects, owner profiles)
to the Editor of the OMC Blitz, c/o OMC's email addressjoinomc -at- opelclub -dot- com), to free up our
volunteer's time for completion of the archival efforts.

I would be very interested in a Blitz archieve on CD or DVD. There are so many issues that are very informative that it's hard to decided to pick up this issue or that issue without really picking them all up.
Needs a 2dr Ascona, everyone else has one.
