    A very nice article Harold, thanks for posting it. 1887 building sewing machines, who would have thought it would lead to this. I remember buying my first Opel.     The Green Opel that is the cover of this belongs to a member of this board. It is a true 69 flat panel Gt with 2 carbs if I remember correctly. I had the pleasure of sitting with him at one of the Autofairs in Charlotte many years back. I don't know if the Gt is in his possession now or not. I have heard it went back to Germany to a Museum.     2 carbs were used for the 1.1L engine. Aside from being rare, the 1.1L GT wasn't very desirable due to having too little power output.
