Which conrods 2.2 crank with 2.4 pistons

Does anyone know if there is any stock rods that will fit a 2.2 crank and 2.4 pistons?

There's a company that makes H-beam rods that will make any set you'd like. They quoted me $300.

Yeah, that's not too bad, but I would have to know the specs I guess, and I dont.

Do you remember who you got the quote from?

    Depends on the Pin hieght..

My 2.5L, and 2.6L use the 2.4L rod on a 2.4L Crank ( for the 2.5L) and a customized 2.3L TD Crank. They both use a 96-97mm Chevy piston.

What changes is the stroke on crank and pin hieght.

    The 2.6L is a 88mm stroke

Did a 2.7L with a BMW rod, and piston steered the rod.. that was a lot of trial and error.

Yeah, I do have 2.4 and 2.7 crank as well, but I'm looking to turbo it up a little with 2.4 pistons and 2.2 crank that I have laying about. So I guess I need to figure out the 2.2's stroke.

I would not use 2.4 pistons for any turbo. The ring lands are fragile.

Yes, these are not original 2.4 pistons, it's dished ross racing, I was having 4 customly made for the 2.4 with the blower a few decades ago, turns out, buying 8 didnt cost much more.

I have 2.4 crank and H rods, but I can't use 2.4 for this turbo project, because I need to get around 150hp only. So I'll try the 2.2. 115hp with 33% gain from turbo is around 153hp, and the authorities should approve.

If your pistons have the std compression height of 31,5mm, perhaps these 136,5mm rods could be used with an off set small eye bushing to get to the needed 137,75 rod length ? The difference is after all only 1,25mm. https://www.maxspeedingrods.co.uk/hi...s-conrods.html
An other source for custom connection rods: https://www.autoverdi.com/rods.html

I guess I could do that, but a batch of custom made onse would be cheaper than having a machine shop to do that.
