I really like this electric FP setup, but it is a long way from the tank. I always thought that in-line fuel pumps should be mounted as close to the tank as practical? Any problems keeping it primed?
My first choice was at the back by the tank but I stuck it up front temporarily to get on the road. It has worked so well that it is going to stay where it is. With the pertronix and the fuel pump, I don't even have to hit the accelorator more than once to set the choke and it starts immediatly. When stopped after a long drive, it still restarts immedialtly by just turning the key. LOVE IT.
