Jeff, The engine is an all alloy Rover V8 3.9ltr, AKA the old Buick all aluminium 215 cu inch engine as fitted to the Buick Special and others in the sixties. Rover purchased the building rights from GM in the mid sixties. You can find these engines in the Triumph TR8, Range Rover and many other British vehicles. The engine was still being fitted to the Land Rover Discovery right up until the late nineties.

The brake pedal works on the right side of the car as the car is right hand drive!!! I live in the U.K.

Thanks for the 10 rating.

Regards, Paul.
