I actually traded a 1970 VW for it. It was stripped entirely, including glass. It was sanded, primed, painted with a few coats of Poly Guards Red, then a few coats of Poly clear. It came out so nice, it was never wet sanded or so the painter told me.
As it turned out, years later when I moved to a cold climate, the prep work was revealed to be bad and bubbled up like little acne marks all over the car, but still shiney though. It broke my heart. When the engine grew tired and I didn't have the time, money or space to rework the car, I sold it. I owned it for 13 years.
Yes, I want another. I was hoping ot find out what happened to this one. A guy in San Diego bought it from me.
