That's the GM 60 degree 3.4 V-6. The neighbor thought it sounded great. She liked it. No one else in the neighborhood complained either. I must be liked here. :d

Actually it's quieter than my 350 monza with just a catalytic convertor. It does sound mellow, and you can almost talk above the exhuast at idle.

namba209, what's your fuel system? It looks like a stock F.inject from here (lol).

Yes it is, C-clamps are holding the fuel pump (70psi) and a 100 psi fuel filter to the bottom leg of the stand. "Rube Goldberg" but functional.

What was the cost of the engine and tranny from E-bay?

Engine was $300, but the computer and harness was $100 more. The tranny was $152.50. Shipping was a bunch from Florida and Kentucky to here inSANe DIEGO. Figured it was cheaper than pulling everything by myself from the local salvage yards.
