Kandy Pagan Gold
This car came from Opels UnLimited, it was totally disassembled, sandblasted, and brought back from the dead. See my threads "off to the sandblaster" and "efi 2.2 motor build" for the build information.
1973 Opel GT (Kandy Pagan Gold)
2.2 bored out to 2.3 with custom everything except the crank. Trigger wheel fitted for the Ford EDIS Ignition system. 3.0 Intake with 2 rear runners cut off. Custom fuel rail and injector manifold mounting plate. Heavy duty cooling with 3 core aluminum radiator and Mr. Gasket 14" electric fan. Roller rockers, aluminum flywheel, S10 clutch, venolia pistons, 2.4 starter.
Rear curtain embroidered to match the wheel center caps. Miata door pulls. Custom made door panels & aluminum door locks. Custom made center console with brass accents and switches for the electric mirrors from a Mazda RX7 and Spal electric windows. Soon to be changed to the "Honda Accord option". Recaro seats with double lock seat sliders. Carbon fiber shift knob and hand brake handle. Lecarra steering wheel.
3 Coats of base color, 6 coats of Kandy Pagan Gold, and 3 coats of clear. All chrome was re-done in triple plate. 7 spring loaded buttons were added to pass the electric through the doors for the mirrors and windows. The bottom of the car had self etching primer, black finish coat and black gravel-tex.
Completely rebuilt front suspension with 1" lowering spring, 75 big brakes, stainless hoses, and Koni Red shocks.
Wheel and Tire
"Prime" 15" x 7" Wheels painted translucent black with gold fleck in it to match the black accents on the body.
