Modifications
Drivetrain
Weber two barrel carb sounds like it is going to suck the hood in when the secondary is kicked in. Electric fuel pump works great, and allows the distributor to be removed easier. I replaced the fan with an electric pusher unit. I replaced the muffler with a straight pipe that makes the car sound fantastic. It still has the Anza muffler/resonator on it so the sound is very mellow unless yoou really get on it
Interior
Had a tear in the driver's seat repaired and new carpets made up. I installed a nice set of leather seats out of a Jaguar. They are low back and give me easy access to the rear area. They are super comfortable and look great in the car. The best thing is the improved visibility you get with low back seats. My latest "improvement" is a nice wood face on the dash. It is 1/4 inch luan plywood stained Golden Oak and sealed with satin polyurathane. And see the pic of the catch I put on to keep the sunvisor in place.
Exterior
repaired the car and color sanded/buffed it to a brilliant shine. Replaced the grille and removed the rear side marker lights.
Audio
AM/FM/Cassette stereo with four speakers.
Suspension
New shocks on the rear and shims installed on the front shocks to remove the slop in the lower mount. I installed shackles on the front spring and modified the rear springs to lower the car 2 inches.
