My dad found this car while at work and we talked to the owner and ended up buying it in November of 2013. She had been sitting since about 1997-2002(tags expired in 1997, but owner said it had been sitting for 12 years). After many hours in the garage we finally got her to fire up on December 21st, 2013.
This car was a one family car, the first owner was in the united states navy, I believe, and saw an opel gt on a billboard and fell in love with it, he bought this car, and had it shipped home to the states, and later sold it to his sister in ohio. Her daughter drove it until she joined the military and gave it to her parents where it sat until my dad found it.
