I bought the car this Spring, may to be exact. The car had gone through several owners over time, but had been sitting in red primer for the past 20 or so years. The car had been sitting in a garage most of that time and had not suffered hardly any rust damage. Surprisingly enough, the car started after a small amount of effort and we drove it onto the trailer to go home. Unfortunately, when we got home it no longer started, something must have gotten shaken loose on the ride home. Since I have been tinkering with the engine some, but mostly working on the exterior. I just painted the car myself recently, the first car I have painted. I continue to work on the interior, which was entirely stripped except for the dash when I got it. Unfortunately, most of the interior pieces were not even with the car. Conclusion, progress has been and continues, but it is still a work in progress.
