A Commodore Coupe
Pearl red with pearl white top.
I bought the car in May '84 and took it apart to restore and modify it. Started driving ithe car in Sep. '86. Dragraced it from '91 until '95 adding some more mods and now just using it as a streetcar.

30E engine (A Senator) with a C30NE, big valve head, fully ported and flowed, raised compression to 10,1:1 and fuel press to 3Bar. Engine power estimate is 220Hp and redline 7000 rpm. R25 5-speed (B Senator C30NE) with shortshifter to get the throw of the long D Rekord shifter witin reach. Big core radiator, Visco fan and oil heatexchanger to warm up the engine oil quick and keep it within limits lateron.
Recaro seats and original rearbench are leather, sidepanels matching skai. Mini Cooper steeringwheel, power from a Monza.
During restauration I took some of the trim off but added a second triangular exhaust opening for the left exhaust. Painted the windows and windshield blue. Side windows are electric operated. H4 headlights.
Manual sliding rooof.
Becker Exquise radio from a Merc with Magnat 4 speakers and an electrical antenna. Instruments from a B Commodore GSE with the speedometer and revcounter switched places.
Front almost standard with revalved red Koni's. Full soft for the drag's and full stiff for cornering on the streets. Rear axle narrowed 8cm with machined A Manta axles. Homebuild full adjustable four link (geometrie, hight and position) and adjustable Panhard bar. 80% limited ZF diff with 3,89 gears (B Admiral).
Brakes from a B Diplomat V8, ventilated discs on all four corners with Pagid Blue (carbon) brake pads.
Wheel and Tire
Wolfrace shallow 6x14 in front and deep 7x14 in the back with 185-65-14 and 245-60-14 tires.
