History
My first car and my favorite! Purchased in 1986 while in college, third owner. Full rotisserie restoration done by Keith Lundholm "opelspyder" and Mid-Southern Restoration in 2007.

Modifications

Drivetrain
Most mods have been focused here and include:

Performance mods:
Opel 1.9L high compression pistons, Weber 32/36 DGEV carb, Pertronix electronic ignition, resistorless distributor rotor, custom cold air intake (CAI).

Appearance mods:
Painted engine block and head (Chevy Arrival Blue), powder coated valve cover, and many, many other painted and powder-coated parts for a very clean engine bay.
Interior
Mostly stock interior. Mods include custom kick panels and center console, chrome shifter knob, painted ashtray, and form-fitted dash cover.
Exterior
Looks mostly stock from the exterior. Few mods include passenger side mirror, removal of rear trim strip, removal of radio antennae, and powder-coated rims.
Audio
Sirius / XM satellite radio with CD player hidden behind faceplate, powered AM / FM antennae in headliner, amp in spare tire area, and speakers mounted above package tray.
Suspension
Front and rear ADDCO anti-sway bars.
Wheel and Tire
Stock rims (powder-coated) with 13" Cooper Cobra GT white lettered tires.
