Rustoleum Sunburst Yellow

Found on eBay, after the car had sat for 25 years in a field outside of Oroville, CA. Alan and I bought it for $200, evicted the critters, cleaned it, took out everything we would not need, and then some, then got EGR to put a cage in it for us, and a seat and a removable steering wheel. We ended up rebushing the whole car because all of the rubber was rotten, and rewired it because the wiring was worse than bad. Rebuilt the brakes, removed all of the glass except the wind shield, built a custom instrument panel, did next to nothing on the motor, then took it racing.

The motor that was in the car when we got it died after four races, It did great, considering it had sat in a field for 25 years. It was s stock 1.9L motor but it had low compression pistons.

We are now running Ford Cook's old 2.0L motor - high compression pistons, balanced crank (I think), 4-bearing cam head and a Torquer cam, larger valves, Weber 32/36 carburetor, oil cooler.

Kirkey racing seat, five-point harness, custom instrument panel, fire extinguisher, metal fuel bulkhead, panoramic mirror.

Carbon fiber rear wing, front air dam, roller painted a yellow that was close to that used by Corvette Racing.

Three pedals and a steering wheel.

Poly bushings, KYB high pressure shocks in the rear, and it still has the Sears Heavy Duty shocks that were on the car when we bought it.
