It’s a Bakelite block that is held on by one screw, and it has two screws on it. One is the alternator power, this is the large red/white wire and will get a fusible link. Then the power wire runs from the same screw to the alternator. The other wire that goes on the other side of the block is the blue/white wire. It is for the idiot light, charging light. It will connect with the small blue and white wire I put on your voltage regulator harness. It usually has a fusible link on it as well, but isn’t really needed unless you have a heated rear window. But I even question needing it then. Truth be known, you really don’t need the junction if you want to wire it straight to the wires, you just will want a fusible link on the alternator power wire
